EX.3
This week I wasn't able to get all the things I wanted done, since I went back to california and found out my computer and internet connection are both really bad. Unity barely runs on this computer, so I'll have to borrow a decent laptop from a friend. Luckily, Maya works on this computer, so I was able to create models. One of the biggest problems I had while modelling was figuring out how to model using shapes to subtract from others. This was really important in making the boat model because the body is basically a hollowed out shape. I had to change around the scene when implementing my models since they weren't scaled to the game. My seaweed model also doesn't seem to work correctly. I'll work on that next week. Going into the final week, my biggest concern is making the collisions work properly. I'll also add a title screen. From here on out it's mostly polish, since I think the game itself works as is.
Sidenote: At the time of writing, my computer has taken about 30 minutes attempting to build the scene. I'm not even sure if it can.
